What happens once I've booked my adventure?

Once you complete your booking and we’ve received your deposit or full payment (depending on your travel dates), you’ll get an automatic confirmation email with your account details and booking information.

The status of your booking will be either:

Guaranteed → Trip is confirmed to go ahead

We’re confident that this trip will have the minimum number of travellers to make it operationally feasible. You can confidently book your flight, knowing the adventure is going ahead as planned.

Available → Trip is not yet guaranteed

This adventure is not yet guaranteed as we're still building up bookings. We'll email you as soon as it reaches guaranteed status and you can confidently book your flights. Don't book your flights until we tell you you can!

On Request → Trip requires manual confirmation

Your booking cannot be immediately confirmed due to limited capacity or proximity to departure. You've requested your place and we'll aim to confirm it in 3-5 working days or refund you in full if we can't. Do not book your flights until we have confirmed your place.

Once your booking is confirmed, you can download the Flash Pack app. It provides personalized details for your adventure, including hotel information, a suggested packing list, and helpful tips to prepare. Your day-to-day itinerary will be available, and finalised 30 days before departure.

About four weeks before your trip, we’ll set up a WhatsApp group so you can start connecting with your fellow Flashpackers. Your Pack Leader will join the group 2–4 days before departure, and any arrival transfer details (if applicable - see ‘Are airport transfers included?') will be shared there as well.
