Absolutely! In fact we encourage this wholeheartedly. So many of our Flashpackers find arriving a day earlier allows them to settle in, explore, and even bond with others who do the same.
While we don’t book extra nights on your behalf, we’re happy to provide you with all the necessary details to book directly with the hotel (or via your preferred third-party website). As long as your adventure is guaranteed, you can find the names of starting and ending hotels on the itinerary section of the Flash Pack app (click here to download).
Things to keep in mind when booking extra nights:
Hotel changes: In around 5% of cases, the starting or ending hotel may change up to 30 days before departure, so we recommend booking with flexible cancellation terms outside of this window.
Third-party bookings: These are subject to the terms and conditions of the provider. Flash Pack is not responsible for external bookings.
Room continuity: If you’ve booked a single room for your adventure, our local team will do their best to keep you in the same room, but this can't be guaranteed. If you’re sharing a room during your adventure and have booked a pre-night, you’ll need to check out of your single room on the morning of Day 1. There may be a short wait before your twin room becomes available.
Check-in times: We don't have early check-in arrangements with hotels, so if you're arriving on an early flight, please factor this into your plans.
Transfers: Your arrival transfer will still be included if you book the same starting hotel. Just select the "I have booked extra nights at the starting hotel and would like a transfer" option when filling out the onboarding checklist and we'll take care of the rest – no need to email us!
If anything to do with extra nights is unclear, feel free to reach out to us.
