We require a minimum of four Flashpackers to join each departure to guarantee it to go ahead.
As an incentive for anyone booking one of the first four places of each departure we offer an "early bird" discount.
If you book a departure that has an "available" status then we recommend holding off on booking your flights until we have reached the minimum number required to guarantee the departure.
Very occasionally, we do not reach the minimum numbers required to guarantee the departure to go ahead by the time the departure is within 45 days of starting. In these case we will cancel the departure and offer you the following options:
Transferring your booking to a new date and/or departure
A full refund
Guaranteed
A guaranteed departure has meet the minimum number of Flashpackers and is confirmed to go ahead. Your booking will be confirmed instantly and you can book your flights as soon as you have booked your place on the adventure.
Final Call
Once a departure is within 45 days of starting we have to release any hotel rooms, flights or other limited activity spaces back to our local team, as cancellation fees become applicable from this point.
This means when we receive a new booking for one of these departures we need to confirm there is still space available with the local team before we can confirm your booking.
This process can take up to five working days, although generally we can get a al and we ask that you please hold off booking your flights until your place is fully confirmed. Once we have confirmed you've got the go-ahead you can book those flights and your travel insurance.
If we are unable to confirm your place, you will have the option of:
Transferring your booking to a new date of the same adventure
Transferring to a new adventure
A full refund
Insider Adventure
An Insider adventure indicates this will be the first time we've run a new itinerary or the first time we've run an itinerary we've made significant changes to.
We know this adventures probably won't run perfectly to plan, so we offer a special discount to everyone who joins one of these departures. In return we ask for constructive feedback about the experience, so we can make sure it meets the high standards of our Flashpackers going forward.
These adventures are great for anyone who won’t mind if the itinerary doesn't run perfectly to plan.
