If you are booking an adventure that is less than 90 days from departure, you will be required to pay the full amount at the time of booking.

How much is the deposit?

What payment methods are available?

For customers outside of the UK, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro/Solo and American Express.

For UK-based customers, we only accept payment via Visa and Mastercard credit or debit cards.

Why can’t we accept AMEX in the UK?

We can’t accept AMEX due to legal reasons that are out of our control. Essentially, the UK law requires ATOL protection, which means only certain payment systems will work with travel companies. The one we currently use (and most others) doesn't accept AMEX. The US has different ATOL protection laws, meaning that we can use a different payment system that does accept AMEX.

Do you automatically take the payment from my card?

For customers outside of the UK, we will automatically charge the final balance to the card you used to pay the deposit once your adventure is 90 days from departure (unless you have a payment plan). We will send you a reminder email 7 days before the payment is taken and a final reminder the day before.

You can update the card on file through your Flash Pack account.

We're unable to take automatic payments from UK customers, so you will need to log in to your Flash Pack account and make a manual payment.

What is ATOL financial protection? (UK customers only)

When you buy an ATOL-protected flight or flight-inclusive holiday from us you will receive an ATOL Certificate. This lists what is financially protected, where you can get information on what this means for you, and who to contact if things go wrong.

Many – but not all – of the flights and flight-inclusive holidays on our website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. Please ask us to confirm what protection may apply to your booking. If you do not receive an ATOL Certificate then the booking will not be ATOL protected. If you do receive an ATOL Certificate, but all the parts of your trip are not listed on it, those parts will not be ATOL protected. Please see our booking conditions for details, or for more information about financial protection and the ATOL Certificate go to: www.atol.org.uk/atolcertificate

Can I pay via instalments (non-UK customers)?

You can arrange to pay off the remainder of your trip cost (post-deposit) in instalments. You can do this up to 60 days before your adventure departs, choosing to pay in three or six-month instalment periods. These payments will be auto-debited from the debit or credit card used to make your initial deposit and can be changed by contacting our team. We will send email reminders seven days and one day before taking instalment payments.

Can I pay via instalments (UK customers)?

For UK customers, we can arrange a manual payment plan for you with the final payment due 60 days before departure. For these plans, you must remember to make the payment manually by logging into your Flash Pack account.

Are there extra fees for paying in instalments?

No. The price is the same whether you pay in a lump sum or in instalments.

Do you charge a booking fee or currency conversion fee?

Flash Pack does not charge any booking fees or currency conversion fees.

However, your financial institution may charge a conversion fee if you opt to pay in a currency different to that of the country your account is in.

Some financial institutions may also consider payments to Flash Pack as foreign transactions and charge a fee for this. We recommend that you check with your financial institution about their fees if you have any concerns.
