Flash Pack is designed predominantly for solo travellers, but on our Adventure trips we do allow a limited number of people to book with a friend or partner.
If you’ve booked with a friend, you’ll be able to request them as your roommate (if you wish) when you complete the onboarding checklist in the Flash Pack app. In the Personalisation & Rooming section, simply let us know you’re travelling together.
If you’ve booked one of our Wellbeing journeys, these trips are designed for solo travellers only. For this reason, we’re not able to accept bookings from friends or couples travelling together. Many guests find that coming alone is what allows the experience – and the connections formed – to feel most meaningful.

If you’ve booked solo, we’ll carefully match you with a like-minded Flashpacker of the same passport gender, using the answers you provide in your Personalisation & Rooming questionnaire (which covers things like sleep preferences, habits, and general likes/dislikes).
Roommates are revealed at check-in. While most matches work really well (our average rooming score last year was 8.6/10), we keep things flexible – if you’d like to switch after the first night or two, you’re very welcome to do so, as long as it’s handled respectfully and with everyone’s agreement.
Please note: while we don’t expressly permit existing pairs to join our Wellbeing journeys, we cannot guarantee that there won’t be Flashpackers who have booked separately and know each other from previous Flash Pack travels.
